Charter preferences

Following booking your yacht charter we will send you a Preference List to be completed. This Preference List will be sent to your crew around a month prior to embarkation so that they can prepare for the charter. A preference list is a detailed form that requires the charter guests to share their personal preferences for the charter and information on any medical conditions and dietary requirements that the crew should be made aware of. Finally, it also provides the opportunity to request additional services such as transfers, restaurant bookings, birthday or any other celebration planning.

The biggest section on the preference sheet is for your food and drink preferences. To ensure the chef is able to provide you with fantastic meals, he/she will need to know of any dietary requirements you may have but also which foods you like and dislike. This is especially important if there are any children on board who have specific tastes. Unlike a hotel, a luxury yacht is unable to access food and drinks at a drop of a hat. You will therefore be required to list your favourite brands and amounts of beverages you wish to be ordered for your charter as storage space is limited. Filling in the preference list ensures that the limited space available is filled with your favourite drinks and food and not with drinks you do not like. Once the crew has received the Preference List they will use the information you have provided to provision for the charter. The more detailed you are with your information, the more likely they are to be able to provide you with the best experience.  

The Preference List also allows you to list any special occasions that may be happening whilst on charter. These could include birthdays, anniversaries, religious events or just a themed party you wish to enjoy. Any dates that you wish to be celebrated should be listed with a little bit of information as to how you would like to celebrate.
