Our family spent seven nights traveling from Split to Dubrovnik aboard Mala in July 2024. We all agreed that this was by far our best vacation ever! Seeing Croatia from the water and stopping at many beautiful locations each day was truly a privilege. But what made this trip so special was the crew, Zoki and Sanja and their impeccably maintained catamaran “Mala”.
Zoki is a professional captain, a perfectionist who knows the Adriatic like the back of his hand. He is also very knowledgeable about all the wineries in Croatia and gave us great recommendations each day. Sanja does everything other than steer the boat, but she is best known for her wonderful cooking. Every meal on Mala was absolutely delicious despite our long list of likes and dislikes !
Our initial thought was to spend all of our time on the boat or in the water, but Zoki and Sanja convinced us to take a Land-rover excursion on the island of Vis and a bicycle tour of Korcula. We are so glad we did both because they were a lot of fun and we learnt so much about the region’s rich history.
Zoki and Sanja have invested heavily in new technology on Mala. The most impressive benefit to guests is the solar powered battery system that allows the boat to function overnight, including air conditioning, without the need for a noisy generator!
This was our first visit to Croatia, but it won’t be our last! When we do return our first choice will be to do another journey with Zoki and Sanja aboard Mala.

We have just returned from spending a spectacular week on Cool Change. Our family (including 3 teens, ages 15, 17 and 19) is lucky to be in a position to travel quite frequently, and we have been spoiled with some memorable and luxurious vacations over the years. We are in agreement that our week on Cool Change topped all of them. Croatia is exceptionally beautiful, but what made the trip so incredible were Captain Josip and Chef Larry. I do not exaggerate when I say I was in tears when it was time to say goodbye.

Our week was the perfect balance of family bonding mixed with time spent getting to know these lovely humans. Josip and Larry chatted with us in the mornings over a cup of coffee, took our kids water skiing, found private coves in the clearest waters for swimming and snorkeling. Larry cooked the most delicious regional food that even our picky kids enjoyed.

The boat is in excellent condition- sparkling clean, comfortable, and well organized. We had plenty of space to spread out- indoors and out.

Josip and his brothers clearly have such pride of ownership and it permeates the entire experience.
I can’t recommend this catamaran highly enough. You will not be disappointed!

Cool Change Catamaran Charter from Dubrovnik to Split was one of our very best vacations we have ever done. We really had no idea what to expect as we have never done a charter cruise. We are not fans of big Cruise ships, one and done so we were excited but also unsure of how it would go. We loved every second of it. From the start before we left we had great communication with our Captain Nikola. He was very helpful and easy to talk to. We had spoken a few times with him and we felt so at ease with everything he was planning for us. Once we got on the boat we immediately felt like we were home. The perfect place with the perfect crew. Nikola and our fun and incredible chef/helper Larry was out of this world. Every meal was delicious and his spirit was super positive making our adventure even better! We meshed so well and felt like both were part of our family. Truly can’t say enough about our experience. It was truly AMAZING and AWESOME!!! Thank you to Nikola who kept us safe and took us to beautiful coves and places where the weather was best. And Thank you to Larry for all the incredible meals and conversation. We consider you both family and welcome you to come for a visit anytime.

How do we begin to thank you for such a wonderful journey aboard your amazing beautiful Falco? Despite the clouds and a little rain - okay a LOT of rain- we enjoyed our time with you immensely! Your kindness and attention to every detail made for smooth sailing. And to say that the meals prepared by Marin were all delicious is an understatement. You spoiled us rotten and we loved every minute of it! We appreciate you sharing your lovely country with us and patiently answering our many questions. It's been heartwarming to see how much you love Croatia. From beginning to end we had a fantastic time.

We had an outstanding experience chartering a catamaran in Greece through Sasha King at High Point Yachting. Sasha went above and beyond to find the perfect crew for our family, making sure they matched our needs and that the chemistry was right. With two young boys under 10, this was so important, and the crew she selected truly made our trip unforgettable.

Captain Pandelis and his crew was pure A+. He has such a laid back and cool vibe. The chemistry of the team, you could just feel how well they all got along. Pandelis is also incredible with the boys. By the way, Dimitris is one of the best cooks we have ever experienced -- it is beyond a selling point. We had no idea how good the food was going to be. Finally, Judit is so cool, she has a magical balance of presence where she is there if you need anything but you still feel totally free like it's just you on the boat. I cannot recommend the Hydrus team enough, the crew has set the highest bar for when we do this with you again.

Sasha also guided us in planning our itinerary for late October, weighing the pros and cons of various locations based on the weather. Her communication was excellent—always responsive on email and WhatsApp, which kept us informed and reassured throughout. I’m already looking forward to working with her again for our next adventure. Highly recommend.

We love being on gulets and we rafted together last night.I can’t rave enough about the gulets. They bend over backwards to make things fun and festive. The crew of KAYA GUNERI V speak better English than ZEPHYRIA but all seem to get along and have rafted boats together whenever possible. Another beautiful day lays ahead!! Thanks for all your help!!

We all love being on board. The boats do such a good delicious lunch on board every day.

Excursion to Caunos was fascinating and different to get off the boats and explore. I can’t tell you how our crew has bent over backwards to give us the best time!!

Your passion for Croatia, the Adriatic, the environment, amazing FOOD are all so clear, what made this trip so special. Each of you add the perfect personalities to make Mala what she is today... a perfect relaxing but FUN experience.
What an amazing time we have had aboard your beautiful catamaran Mala. Essentially you have welcomed us to your second home and allowed me to create chaos in the normal routine. Thank you!

Our family has nothing but positive reviews (aside from me being seasick - even with a prescription patch and wristband). The Captain and crew were all very attentive. Borah, was especially accommodating, always eager to serve us, even with the younger generation late into the evenings! The captain was also fantastic - he checked in with us each evening communicating the plan for the next day, as well as making a few changes to maximize our time/sights of the different bays. He was also very helpful making reservations as we switched to an out to lunch day, in replacement of dinner on the boat.

The food was all DELICIOUS!! My only suggestion would be to add some yogurt/granola to the breakfast meal. Aside from that, all was PERFECT.

We are sad the trip is over, especially after having planned for it for SO long.
