Hanse Explorer is a very steady and extremely comfortable super yacht. A true expedition yacht in every sense. Ice-classed and built to handle the most challenging waters, this is a yacht that can face any weather conditions.
The boat can navigate both tropical and polar waters. It carries two Mark-IV Zodiacs for landing on remote Pacific beaches or making way through Antarctic brash ice. Retractable stabilizers keep her steady at sea.
Whether diving in the remote reefs of Melanesia, utilizing the yacht’s advanced dive centre, cruising through the Norwegian fjords, or Antarctica the yacht is perfectly suited for expeditions of all kinds.
In 2021 the yacht went through a multi-million dollar refit to give her a newer, more contemporary look. She has an industrial look from the outside, just as one would expect of a well-built secure explorer. But inside, she is spacious and luxurious, decorated in light coloured woods and modern art.
Hanse Explorer can accommodate up to 12 guests in 7 en suite cabins. The large Master cabin, 485 sq ft, is on the Upper Deck and features a large private lounge area. The remaining 6 en suite cabins, all approximately 182 sq ft, are on the Main Deck and can be configured for either double or twin sleeping arrangements.
A spacious saloon and adjacent dining room feature large windows to bring any stunning scenery indoors. An expansive aft deck is frequently used for al fresco dining. A large Owner’s cabin opens onto a secluded deck and, up top, there is a new Jacuzzi and outdoor seating area.
Her professional crew is experienced in running expeditions and understands the particular demands that will come from clients on such trips, whether those clients are a large family group, friends or a couple on their romantic escape. These expeditions produce a very special and unique camaraderie onboard, and there are many repeat clients, year after year, coming back for more.
Hanse Explorer has established herself as a firm favourite with those looking for a deep and intimate experience of some of the world’s most remote regions.
