Gulet MALENA joined the Adriatic fleet in the summer 2013, just after she was fully refurbished in Croatia. Since then, this gulet has been well looked after by her owners, regularly maintained during winters with the addition of something new every year to refresh the look and feel of the boat.
MALENA has a great charter record and a lot of that is due to her wonderful local crew of four.
Gulet MALENA can accommodate up to 10 guests in five en-suite cabins:
- Four double cabins
- One twin cabin
Charter rates for 2025:
High Season (21 June - 30 August): €21,500 + half board + €3000 APA
Mid Season (24 May - 21 June & 30 August - 20 September): €19,000 + half board + €3000 APA
Low Season (3 May - 24 May & 20 September - 4 October): €17,000 + half board + €3000 APA
The charter rate include: A week rental with four crew members, fuel for the yacht and generator work for approximately 4 hours per day/ air-conditioning, yacht's tender for the guests' transfer from/to the gulet, complete linen and towels, including beach towels and Croatian VAT.
Obligatory Extras:
Half board – includes full breakfast and lunch at €480 per person per week (an extra meal can be arranged during the week at €50 per person with a maximum of 2 additional meals per week.)
Children age 0-2 free of charge, children age 2-10 have 50% discount of a board arrangement.
Marina fees and port taxes - this cost will be covered from the APA but the exact amount depends on the route.

Additional Extras:
- Water sport: €100 per hour for all water sport that use yacht’s tender (to be covered from APA)
- One way charters are available with a relocation fee: €1,200 (relocation fee would not apply if the return leg is booked)
- Transfer from/to the airport/hotel can be organised on request
DRINKS/BEVERAGES OPTIONS:
Beverages according to an on-board price list (cost to be covered from APA) or one of the following options:
• All-inclusive domestic package at €270 per person per week (includes: Croatian wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks, still and sparkling water, coffee, tea)
• All-inclusive non-alcoholic drinks package at €160 per person per week
• Drinks supplied according to preference list. A €1,000 service charge applies for the week.
Crew Gratuity: Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10-15% of the charter fee is customary.
CYBA/MYBA terms will apply.
APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): APA is an estimate paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.
Embarkation Saturday 17.00hr, Disembarkation 09.00hr Saturday.
Payment conditions: 50% of the charter rate within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus APA, at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.
Captain:Frane Hudoletnjak
Frane has been on the boat Malena for the past six years. Born in Split, he sets a fine example for his crew with his professionalism and dedication. As the captain, he strives to accommodate the guests on board to the best of his abilities, ensuring their needs and desires are met throughout the journey. With his interpersonal skills and attention to detail he creates a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere and makes each voyage on Malena a memorable experience. His leadership style inspires trust among the crew, fostering a cohesive and efficient team.
With two years of scuba diving experience, he brings a deep understanding of the marine world to his role.
Outside of his role as captain, he enjoys playing basketball and weightlifting. These hobbies not only help him maintain physical fitness but also provide a healthy outlet for relaxation and personal growth. Engaging in these activities allows him to recharge and bring a refreshed mindset to his responsibilities on the boat Malena.
With his leadership guests can expect a voyage filled with remarkable moments and the assurance of a captain who navigates the seas with expertise.
Chef: Luka Josipović
Luka was born in Đakovo is a culinary enthusiast whose passion for cooking was ignited by his deep love for his two daughters. Cooking for them became a creative outlet, and he discovered his true calling in the kitchen. Luka's culinary journey took an interesting turn when he embarked on the boat Malena, which has been his home for the past decade since its arrival from Turkey.
Living on the boat has allowed Luka to fully embrace his love for nature and long walks. Being surrounded by the vast expanse of the open sea has inspired him to experiment with unique flavours and ingredients found in coastal regions. Luka's cuisine reflects his deep appreciation for the natural world, as he often incorporates locally sourced produce and seafood into his dishes.
Deckhand: Krešimir Širko
Krešimir hails from the charming coastal town of Sibenik. With a perpetually positive attitude and a professional demeanour, Kresimir brings a radiant smile and unwavering dedication to his role as a deckhand. Krešimir's boundless enthusiasm and love for life shine through in every task he undertakes. Whether he's meticulously maintaining the vessel, assisting with navigational duties, or ensuring the safety and comfort of the crew and passengers, his commitment to excellence is unwavering. Despite the demanding nature of his job, Kresimir's infectious smile and cheerful disposition make him a joy to work alongside.
When he's not fulfilling his duties onboard, Kresimir eagerly immerses himself in the world of extreme sports. Skydiving and climbing offer him an adrenaline rush and an opportunity to challenge himself physically and mentally. Bruno is from Sibenik, is a valuable asset to the crew with his unwavering enthusiasm and readiness to tackle any challenge. Despite being the youngest member on board, Bruno's dedication to his job and commitment to maritime operations are unparalleled. Additionally, his academic background in kinesiology has equipped him with a unique understanding of physical fitness and overall well-being, making him even more adept at handling the physical demands of his role.
